What should I do?
Florida Traffic Laws offer traffic ticket recipients the opportunity to attend traffic school after receiving certain traffic tickets. The officer should have advised you if the traffic charge you were charged with is eligible for a traffic school to reduce the points assessed on your driver's license. There are several traffic school and all are economically competitive with each other. Hence, the police department does not recommend any one school over the other. It is important to make sure the school you choose is Florida accepted. The following web sites are furnished to help those who wish to take the courses on line. There are also videos at your local video rental stores, Blockbuster or Movie Gallery, on DVD or VHS Tape that can certify attendance.
Florida Law allows you 30 days from the issue of the ticket to comply with one of the following options. Failure to comply within that time WILL DEFINITELY result in the suspension of your driver's license. You may also call (863) 402-6604 with any questions you have regarding traffic ticket options.
