BICYCLE RODEO INFORMATION
The Lake Placid Police Department will have it's fifth annual bicycle
rodeo on Saturday, November 6, 2010. The department averages
85 children each year. Children of all ages are taught to
master biking skills that help keep them safe. Helmets
are a popular attraction. If a child doesn't have a helmet
one is furnished. Better yet, each child receives lessons on
how to properly fit a bike helmet.
Don't have a bike, or can't figure out how to carry your bike from home
. . . no problem. We have plenty of bicycles of all
sizes for loaners.
Lost of prizes and free lunch (hotdogs, chips, etc).
